Delighted to be back in York and in Cloisters Walk. Thank you for your warm welcome and for taking your time to explain how
the storage heater works. This year we have had the flat at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay thanks to your explanation. We also
appreciated the "starter" items and the use of the umbrella. You have put so much thought into the setting the up of the flat and what your
visitors need. Looking forward to seeing you again next year! All the best.

Location, location, location is what everyone seeks, and it is here. Great detail has been given to make our stay welcome and
warm. Thank you, we will be back soon.

Our third stay in the apartment and an excellent week in one of our favourite places. We never tire of coming to York and
always find something new to do or see. The new bathroom is lovely (I’m going home to re-do our en-suite now!) and the welcome tea-bags and
cake was much appreciated - thank you. Here’s to our fourth visit next year.

Have really enjoyed our week in York - plenty to do and see - weather has been great (an added bonus). But, having stayed in
other apartments in York - this has been the best yet from the welcome tea, cake etc to all the small touches - you’ve thought of everything
and we have felt it a real "home from home". The garden is such a beautiful, quiet space - will certainly be back!

Well done Christine and John! You certainly have wakened this lovely wee flat out of its hibernation. We’re so glad to be back
here again. It’s our "home-from-home" in Yorkshire. PLEASE send us a booking form for next year. We can’t wait to see how you continue putting
YOUR stamp on this place. Loved all the personal little touches and even the hot teapot on arrival. Wow! P.S. Left you 4 large wine glasses -
‘cos I don’t like wee ones! Hic!

Another wonderful week despite sub-zero temperatures and a little snow! Always warm and cosy in this lovely apartment. We are already looking forward to the next time we can come and explore a little more of York and relax in lovely surroundings.

Lovely apartment, weather has been very cold so it was really good to have such a welcoming 'home' to return to after exploring the city. We have taken some of your flyers for the flat which we will pass on to friends.

Dear John and Christine! We have loved staying in your cozy flat in your beloved York. The last four days have been very special in so many ways - the simple pleasures of M&S's lamb shanks, Barry's incredible garden right outside our window and all of York to explore. Thanks for helping to make our 38th Anniversary so special. On top of that, the weather has been spectacular and we've enjoyed following the filming of "Robinson Crusoe" - first in Whitby, now here in York.

A great holiday despite the rain. Very convenient location for sightseeing and walking around York. Found the flat very comfortable and convenient - pity the weather didn't allow us to use the beautiful garden.

Once again thoroughly enjoyed our week in York. Weather hasn't been great but this hasn't hindered us - although we've had to drag ourselves away from No.8 in the morning and such a sanctuary to come back at night to rest our weary legs (and sore feet !!!). Fabulous sound from your new Bose CD player. We just love No.8 and can't wait to return - (Dawn has been really helpful as usual).

A most enjoyable week. We love York; the apartment has been perfect for both comfort and location, so much to see and do, and friendly and helpful people. Thank you Christine and John and to Dawn for her lovely welcome.

A lovely friendly welcome from Dawn with tea, cake and flowers. The flat was lovely with all we required, excellent walking distance to all attractions. We have already begun recommending the flat to friends and family. Thank you.

We have had a most enjoyable sojourn in the apartment. It suited our needs in all regards. Thank you for your thoughtful hospitality and special concern for our travel problems.

Excellent accommodation. One of the best in over thirty years of self-catering breaks. Thank you to all!.

I can only reiterate what everyone else has said about this lovely establishment. Christine does think of everything, the garden is beautiful, the centre of town a stone's throw away. We were incredibly lucky with the weather. Would recommend a trip to York races if you get the chance.
